I have a four-week notice period and my membership ends later - how is that possible?

Your membership has a four-week contract term and a four-week notice period. The effective date of the notice period therefore always falls on the day before the new four-week term. If you are currently in the middle of a term, the notice period only applies at the end of this term. Your membership ends four weeks after this date.
